All our fascias come with a six year warranty as standard, however in order to help you keep your new kitchen looking great with minimum effort please follow the cleaning and care guidelines shown below.

We cannot be held responsible for any surface damages that occur if these guidelines are not adhered to.

To clean door surfaces use a soft clean cloth, warm soapy water should be used to dampen the

cloth (not wet).  Dry off with a soft dry cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning liquids or items such as Brillo Pads etc.

As with all timber based items our products should not be stored or installed in a newly plastered or damp environment.

To avoid damage by excessive heat please follow these simple guidelines:

  • When installing doors adjacent to ovens always ensure that doors are shielded by using heat deflector strips

  • Never use any appliance which generates high levels of heat or concentrated steam (such as a toaster, kettle or pressure cooker) directly under or adjacent to a door or panel.

High Gloss Colours

After removing the protective film please allow the surface to cure for seven days before cleaning or wiping.

To clean the surface of the doors, wipe using a soft cloth with a mild, non abrasive, dishwashing detergent diluted in warm water. The mix should be 1% detergent to 99% warm water. You should never use any vinegar based detergents, solvents, abrasive detergents, white spirit or furniture polish.

Polishing High Gloss finishes will leave minor scratches and polish marks, this is normal with this type of finish.

Damage & Warranty

All fascias carry a 6 year guarantee period for defects in materials only from date of invoice.

High gloss products with protective film

After removing the protective film the finish has a 7 day curing process then the surface should only be polished with VuPlex polish or similar using a micro anti-scratch polishing cloth.

Products situated below a sink, or covering a dishwasher/washing machine are not covered, unless the damage is anything other than excessive steam or water contact.

Products placed near heat sources such as ovens, radiators, grills, boiling kettles, toasters etc, are not covered by the guarantee unless protected by suitable heat strips, and a suitable gap left for heat escape.

Our doors conform to FIRA standard of 1mm bow over a 600mm length if measured when the doors are acclimatised for a period of 96 hours to a temperature of 18-25°C.

In the unlikely event that the original colour has been discontinued, the nearest possible alternative will be offered. Any damage reported to us will be dealt with efficiently and swiftly, and any replacement will be at our discretion. We accept no liability for any consequential loss, costs or re-fitting charges.
